This website was written after reading this interesting blog article.

It allows the user to make static patterns of regularly spaced parametric coils generated with random numbers and colours. You can use it to make pretty pictures, download them, add effects e.g blurring, rotation, etc, and use them as you wish!

Each time you click Submit, a different set of random patterns will be drawn. If you see one that looks promising, download it by clicking on the thumbnail image. Make sure to do this before clicking the submit button again or the picture will be lost forever, since everything is generated completely randomly! Download a few of the best from several runs and rank them afterwards. If really desperate, any curl should be reproducible from the k1 and k2 values shown in the filename!

This website was put together by jbcooper_at_fastmail_dot_net and use of it, or the code which can be obtained here, comes with no warrantees, etc. It is written in Lua and uses the Cairo graphics library.

Corrections and suggestions for improvements are gratefully received at the above e-mail address. Please let me know if you find a combination of options which breaks the program.
